National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), (erstwhile DOEACC Society), an Autonomous Scientific Society under the administrative control of Department of Electronics & Information Technology (Deity), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, was set up to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT). NIELIT is engaged both in Formal & Non-Formal Education in the area of IECT besides development of industry-oriented quality education and training programmes in the state-of-the-art areas. NIELIT has endeavored to establish standards to be the country's premier institution for Examination and Certification in the field of IECT.
By undergoing the Awareness in Computer Concepts (ACC), one should be able to acquire basic knowledge on computer & its usage by understanding the skills operate the elements of a computer, basic operations on the computer, Create, edit and format documents using a word processor, Register for a web-based e-mail account and using it, Opening of e-mail attachments, Digital Literacy to understand the concept of Online Banking, Understanding the available e-Governance Services, etc

Candidates sponsored by NIELIT approved Institutes which are permitted to conduct BCC Course and having obtained e-provisional no. - irrespective of any educational qualifications;
This course is designed to aim at imparting a basic level IT Literacy programme for the common man. This programme has essentially been conceived with an idea of giving an opportunity to the common man to attain computer literacy thereby contributing to increased and speedy PC penetration in different walks of life. After completing the course, the incumbent should be able to the use the computer for basic purposes of preparing his personnel/business letters, viewing information on internet (the web), receiving and sending mails, preparing his business presentations, preparing small databases etc. This helps the small business communities, housewives, etc. to maintain their small accounts using the computers and enjoy in the world of Information Technology. This course is, therefore, designed to be more practical oriented.
Duration: The total duration of the course is 80 hours prescribed by NIELIT, but we will provide (Min. 3 months i.e. 150 Hrs.).
In step with effort to achieve the objective of achieving computer literacy in an inclusive manner, NIELIT has launched a new programme, “Basic Computer Course (BCC)”. The objective of the course is to impart basic level computer appreciation programme with more emphasis on hands on training. Initially, the course was conceived as to boost the concept of introducing a course on computer fundamentals, especially for students, studying vocational courses at ITIs/ITCs. However, the course has gained popularity amongst many more categories. The BCC was launched in year 2011. The programme can equip a person to use the computers in day-to-day life for professional and personal use. After completing the course the incumbent will be computer literate.
The aim of ECC is to assist a prospective entrant into a professional stream with attaining the necessary skills and knowledge needed to complete in today’s competitive scenario. The focus of the course is divided amongst the following four dimensions:
Duration: 3 Month
The DOEACC 'O' level course is a foundation (Junior programmer) level course, which provides the students insight into the operational and programming aspects of Computers. This course structure has been designed for the students who are beginners in Computer world. They can be groomed as Assistant Programmer and get a break in the Computer industry. It comprises of four papers and a project. (Please refer syllabus 'O' level). The course leads to DOEACC 'O' level certification. The student can continue with DOEACC 'A' level after completing 'O' level if he so desires, He gets exemption for the first three papers of A' level.
Eligibility - 10+2 or ITI Certificate after Class 10 Duration: 1 Year (2 Semester)
Objective of ‘A’ Level Course in Information Technology
The objective of the course is to equip a student with necessary skills as per following job role based on specialization attained.
‘O’ Level in Information Technology under DOEACC Scheme. Such candidates are required to register through NIELIT ‘A’ Level Accredited institute.
Or
A Government recognized polytechnic engineering diploma after 10+2/ Graduate (may be concurrent). Such candidates are required to register through NIELIT ‘A’ Level Accredited institute.
Or
10+2.Such candidates are required to register through NIELIT ‘A’ Level Accredited institute. Candidates can pursue graduation in parallel with ‘A’ level (IT) Course. The candidate will be eligible for getting O Level (IT) certificate after clearing required modules.
In each of the above cases, the completion certificate of ‘A’ Level under DOEACC Scheme will be awarded only after successful completion of the academic stream i.e. polytechnic engineering diploma after 10+2 or degree (Graduation).
